Moral Duties

In Jennie Snyder Urman’s 2019 Charmed, we see the six moral responsibilities of television media as they are considered the ethical and moral duties to producing a television show.   

The Individual conscious of the television creator should represent their moral principles within their creative content. In Jennie Urman’s content, it stems from the power of sisterhood and feminism in the show we see the strong message of sister. The show’s most insidious problem comes down to a much deeper casting question, driven by how Charmed has marketed itself as a distinctly diverse and feminist entity. The sisters have the same Latina mother, Marisol, but three different fathers meant to create a broadly multicultural family dynamic. Urman herself said , “They’re multiracial the family is. It’s part of the storytelling that we’re going to be getting into.” The show represents how important it is to showcase diversity among a larger audience that explores into different cultural practices and centers strong black and brown women leads.

Lastly, charmed has made millions of fans love the story world. Charmed has made many people become a fan of the world of witchcraft making them the most devoted, trustworthy Society within the fandom community.
